Frequently asked questions
Does Yapp pay salaries or replace the legal timesheet?
No. Yapp only produces reports and moves no money. The Yapp timesheet is a working record for your accountant, not the legal one: it does not replace official employee registers, declarations or taxes.
Who can see salaries?
Only the owner sees pay rates, the payroll report. Managers see the timesheet only, without amounts, and the rest of the team sees none of these pages.
How is commission calculated?
As a percentage of the price of the specialist's completed appointments, the same figures as in the monthly reports, whether or not the payment has been collected yet. Cancelled and no-show appointments do not count.
Can I delete or hide a negative review?
No. Reviews belong to the clients and cannot be edited, hidden or deleted by the business. Clients can delete their own review at any time. Anyone can report a published review, and it is checked again automatically.
Does the automatic check hide negative reviews?
No. Negative reviews and low ratings are published. The check only stops content that breaks the law or the rules: insults aimed at a person, threats, hate, personal data, sexual content, ads, accusations of crimes, or text that is not a genuine experience. If a review is rejected, the client sees the reason, can contest it with Yapp and can submit a corrected review.
What data does the AI see?
Only the review text and the rating, with names replaced by placeholders before the check. The client's phone number and name are not sent. Details are in the privacy policy.
Who can leave a review?
Only a client with a completed appointment at your business, for the specialist who served them, one review per specialist. The client chooses whether the review shows anonymously or with their first name and last initial.
Are they included in the subscription?
Yes, timesheets, staff pay and reviews are part of Yapp Book and stay off until you switch them on. Review-request SMS are charged like any other SMS.
